Kris Albee

Kris Albee is the Director of Product Marketing for continuous feed products and solutions in the Production Printing Systems (PPS) division of Oce, a Canon Group Company. She leads a team of Marketing Managers driving go-to-market activities for Oce's broad portfolio of inkjet presses, production toner-based printing systems and software solutions targeted at high-volume commercial printing applications, including Book Publishing, Direct Marketing, and transactional/transpromo. Kris has worked in the digital printing industry for more than 20 years and the Graphic Arts segment for the last 10 years. Most recently she's been working within the Inkjet revolution driving Commercial, Book Publishing and Transactional opportunities to market. Prior to Inkjet, utilizing her acumen for color, she held key technology roles in driving the personalization of Photo Specialty products, built on high volume liquid toner solutions.

Prior to joining Oce, Kris worked for Hewlett-Packard responsible for driving Product, Project and Program Management activities, Business Development, Account Management, Communications and Strategic Planning. Kris has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Masters in the Management of Technology, focused on strategic management and wrote her thesis on How to Successfully Integrate Mergers and Acquisitions.

Bruce Beiderman

Bruce Beiderman is National Accounts Manager at Standard Finishing Systems. Bruce has hold sales and management positions in the Graphic Arts Industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Standard Finishing, he was Eastern Regional Sales Director at Presstek. Bruce graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn State) with a degree in Forest Technology.

Larry Bennett

Larry Bennett is the president of Distribution Services at Bookmasters with responsibility for growing the company’s base of domestic and international print and eBook client publishers. He also serves as the head of the company’s foreign-language book development and distribution efforts in the United States and abroad. Prior to joining Bookmasters, Bennett was a vice president at Baker & Taylor, managing its digital print media program. Prior to that, he managed the foreign language department at Baker & Taylor. In the past, Bennett was president of Public Square Books, a distribution and publishing company, and CEO of National Children’s Book Project, LLC, a children’s book publishing company. Bennett is fluent in several languages including Spanish, French, and Italian. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Bookmasters, based in Ashland, Ohio, is one of the largest integrated providers of content, eBook conversion, printing, distribution and marketing services for publishers and authors. The organization has remained a publishing industry leader for more than 40 years.

Gilles Biscos

Gilles Biscos, the Founder and President of INTERQUEST, has spent over 25 years in the information processing industry. He has extensive expertise in strategic planning, market research, competitive analysis, and the development of educational and training programs related to digital printing/publishing and document management. Mr. Biscos is the coauthor of Digital Printing: The Reference Handbook, published in 1993 and updated in 1998 and 2004. He has spoken at a number of industry conferences and written numerous articles for publication.

Mr. Biscos holds Master of Science degrees in Economics and in Social Psychology.

Paul Bradshaw

Paul E. Bradshaw is the Senior Vice President, Publishing Papers for Appleton Coated LLC in Combined Locks, Wisconsin where he is responsible for all Sales, Marketing, and Technical Service activities for the Publishing Papers business. He is also a member of Appleton Coated’s Environmental Committee and the Benefits/Finance Committee. Paul has been involved with Appleton Coated’s inkjet product development since it began in 2007. He has worked closely with inkjet OEM partners, publishers, and printers as Appleton Coated developed and launched its market leading Utopia Inkjet product line.

Paul joined Appleton Papers as they initiated their new CFS venture in 1995 as Market Manager, Coated Publishing Papers responsible for developing and building the company's new coated product line and presence in the book publishing market. He progressed through multiple Sales and Marketing roles during his career with Appleton Papers which subsequently became Appleton Coated. Previous to joining Appleton Papers, Paul was with Stora Newton Falls (which was acquired by Appleton Papers in 1995) where in nearly 8 years he progressed through various roles in Logistics, Market Research, Sales, and Marketing. He has been with Appleton Coated and its predecessor companies for his entire 24 year career. Paul holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Marketing from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York where he enjoyed four years as a member of the Golden Knights Basketball team.

Toby Cobrin

Toby Cobrin is a Director for INTERQUEST who has been involved in the electronic document industry for more than 25 years. Her roles have included technical and marketing positions in a leading document service bureau, technology advisor to the trade association Xplor International, and research analyst for INTERQUEST. Over the past four years she has worked on numerous INTERQUEST studies, including The Digital Book & Manual Printing Opportunity and High Growth Segments of Digital Book Printing. Ms. Cobrin has spoken at numerous industry conferences and has contributed articles to leading industry trade journals.

Ms. Cobrin holds a Master of Science degree in Business from Columbia University.

John Conley

John Conley is Vice President Commercial Print and Publishing at Xerox Corporation where he is responsible for developing and implementing the graphic arts programs for the graphic art market applications and strategies for growing the digital print business with Book Publishers, Retailers and Book Printers worldwide. John went to work for Xerox in October of 2004 after spending 27 years with R.R. Donnelley in their Book Printing Business.

David Davis

David Davis is a Director for INTERQUEST and has more than 20 years experience in the printing and publishing industry where he has held both technical and managerial positions in newspaper, book production, and corporate publishing. He has extensive experience in implementing and managing digital production printing and publishing systems. He has authored numerous industry reports related to digital production printing. Mr. Davis has spoken at many industry events and is a regular contributor to a number of trade publications.

Mr. Davis holds a Master of Science degree in Printing Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Adam DeMaestri

Adam DeMaestri is President of BR Printers. He joined the company’s San Jose, CA facility in 2000 and has served in a variety of sales and management positions. Adam’s specialty in the education field has lead to the growth of BR Printers book production division and the nationwide expansion of BR Printers to Independence, KY in 2007 and East Windsor, NJ in 2011. Prior to joining BR Printers Adam was a High School teacher and football coach. Adam lives in Monte Sereno, CA with his wife and 4 kids. He holds a Bachelors degree in Finance from Santa Clara University, class of 1997.

Bethlam Forsa

Bethlam Forsa is Executive Vice President of Global Product and Content Development at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Publishing and Operations for School Publishers. In that role she helped to standardize and optimize our print publishing operations. Previously, Bethlam was a partner at Accenture, a leading management consulting firm, where she led programs to improve sales, financial performance, and market capitalization for publishing companies around the world.

Stephen M. Franzino

Steve Franzino is Vice President Technology at Courier Corporation. He has played a major role in the development and expansion of Courier’s digital front end and electronic publishing operations. Mr. Franzino directs research and development efforts in the area of computer-integrated manufacturing, digital printing, digital asset management, and EDI transactions. Courier is both a book publisher, and the third largest book manufacturer in the U.S. He has served as an officer of the Research and Engineering Council for the Graphic Arts, and has been a presenter and moderator at many industry conferences. He is currently on HP’s inkjet advisory board and is spearheading Courier’s expansion into Inkjet and custom printing solutions.

David Hetherington

David Hetherington is Vice President of Academic Merchandising & Digital Short Run Printing for Baker & Taylor and an adjunct professor at the Pace University Graduate School of Book and Magazine Publishing. He was previously managing director for strategic business development for Integrated Book Technology, and has held senior positions in finance, operations and manufacturing with some of the industry's largest firms, including Simon & Schuster, Reader's Digest Association, BearingPoint Consulting, Wolters Kluwer Health and Columbia University Press.

Richard Hollick

Richard Hollick has been involved with print-on-demand since its earliest days. He has worked at Cambridge University Press in the U.K. and the U.S., Macmillan Reference USA, Parachute Press, and now Oxford University Press where he is Program Manager, Print-on-Demand.

Katie Kriemelmeyer

Katie Kriemelmeyer is President of AGS, a Consolidated Graphics Company. Katie has a unique background that encompasses programming, databases, mailing, management and sales which gives AGS a leader that frequently looks outside the box to problem-solve. She has worked in the printing industry for over 16 years and 14 of those have been spent at AGS. Over a decade of those years were spent on the ancillary services side of the business: programming, electronic products, CD/DVD, composition, and databases. Katie holds a Bachelors of Science degree and has completed other coursework related to programming, management and sales over the course of her career.

Nick A. Lewis

Nick A. Lewis is the founder and President of Publishers' Graphics, LLC. located in Carol Stream, Il with in-plant facilities in Florence, Ky and Mississauga, Canada. Nick founded the business in 1996 as one of the first all digital book manufacturing facilities in the U.S., specializing in short run production. Publishers' Graphics has grown exclusively in the digital print area with the primary focus being on print on demand. The business offers both hard and softcover finishing while producing books one at a time with text in monochrome and color or a combination of both.

Nick and his management team have developed an automated order entry/job management system that provides distribute-print services in Europe, Australia, Asia and North America. The service allows the customer to automatically dump orders into Publishers' Graphics workflow, which sends the orders to the appropriate print location driven by the final destination of the title. The system is able to do one book per order as well as multiple titles. Prior to starting up his own book manufacturing facility, Nick was employed at The Nicholstone Companies in Nashville, Tn as well as Lake Book Manufacturing in Melrose Park, Il.

Laura Mars

Laura Mars is the Vice President of Editorial at Grey House Publishing, where she leads the editorial team in content management and production of more than 100 business directories, statistical handbooks and general reference encyclopedias. Her responsibilities include new content development and manufacturing options. Laura earned a BA from Brooklyn College and has taught high school English. She has 30 years experience in the publishing industry, where she held Production Manager and Managing Editor positions with monthly magazines and trade publishing houses.

John P. Pecaric

John P. Pecaric serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for RR Donnelley, with responsibility for sites across North America that provide customers with products and services in the book, directory, premedia, packaging, structural design, and office products sectors. He has been active in graphics arts for more than 25 years. His passion for the field began when he read books as a child and continues with his involvement in helping RR Donnelley deploy new digital production technologies that could only have been imagined just a few years ago. John was graduated from the University of Illinois.

George Promis

George Promis is Vice President, Continuous Forms Production Solutions & Technology Alliances, at Ricoh. George has more than 30 years of experience in the development and research of inkjet solutions and holds multiple patents in this space.


George began his career at IBM as an electrical design engineer in 1974. He has managed various development groups, designing magnetic and optical disk drive products and printer and copier platforms. He was promoted to the Laboratory Director for hardware in 1996 and moved into an executive production output marketing position in the late ‘90’s. Throughout his career, George announced a significant number of major products, wrote numerous expert position papers, presented at multiple international conferences and received a number of patents. Many of these activities were related to his expertise in and knowledge of printing and inkjet technology.

Currently his responsibilities include setting technology directions, business development and production continuous forms product management.

Scott Schiller

Scott Schiller is the Director of World-wide Marketing and Business Development for HP’s Inkjet High-speed Production Solutions (IHPS) organization. IHPS is the market leader in a new category of high-speed digital presses utilizing inkjet technology to accelerate the adoption of digital printing in the publishing and graphics market spaces. Scott drove the business concept investigation that led to the formation of IHPS as a new division in IPG, and since 2007 has focused on scaling the sales, marketing and business development functions globally. Scott joined HP in 2003 working in the Commercial Inkjet Supplies organization.

Prior to HP Scott spent 15 years working for a Seattle-based holding company as VP New Business Projects. Scott later spent time in New Business Ventures in Honeywell’s avionics division and in customer research at Microsoft. The consistent theme throughout Scott’s career has been entrepreneurship and business transformation through the use of technology. Scott has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA in Technology Marketing from the University of Washington in Seattle. He resides in San Diego with his wife and two children.

Keith True

Keith True is the Management Accountant for Bridge Publications, Inc. in Los Angeles. He has been with Bridge since 1984 and has held administrative, production, finance and accounting positions, and was responsible for research and planning of Bridge’s digital printing, finishing and binding facility, including equipment research, production workflow optimization and management systems.

Dale Williams

Dale Williams is a Vice President at Strategic Content Imaging in Carlstadt NJ with responsibilities for Operations, Market Development, and Technical Sales. Among his responsibilities is working with publishers to develop customized solutions that take advantage of the emerging digital print and workflow technologies to improve their top and bottom lines. The scope and complexity of these programs range from automated inventory management programs for the Education market to high volume personalized communications for the Healthcare and Financial markets. Dale has been the point contact for developing the personalized magazine advertisement program with the major magazine publishers in the US and has been intricately involved with all aspects of project development from conception to execution.

Yuan Yu

Yuan Yu is Global Business Development Manager for Inkjet Colorant Division of Cabot Corporation in Boston, MA. Yuan has nearly 14 years of experience in developing and commercializing pigment technologies for inkjet industry. As inkjet technologies move from desktop/office to commercial printing space at a feverish pace, Yuan’s current responsibilities are to develop and execute Cabot’s business strategies for high speed inkjet.

Cabot is a global specialty chemical company based in Boston MA with core competencies in various particle technologies. Inkjet Colorant Division is the global leader in providing high performing pigment dispersion product to various inkjet markets.
